$1000 OVEN TOOL KIT COMPETITION!
$1000 OVEN TOOL KIT COMPETITION!

WE HAVE A WINNER!

As always, choosing a winner for such a fabulous prize from a wide range of worthy contenders was never going to be easy. After much wailing and gnashing of teeth at BYO central, we have awarded the tools to Ryan Gawel for his Ode to an Oven.

Congratulations, Ryan! Fiona will be in touch to get your details so we can send the tools to you in time for the bumper Spring/Summer back yard cooking season. Feel free to invite us all over to help try them out!

N.B. Photo shows a sample of tools - actual prize may differ.

Stockholm hosts world's first sourdough hotel

Have you considered skipping a holiday in fear of what may become of your sourdough? Never fear, you could always check it in to Stockholm's sourdough hotel while you’re away!
The Urban Deli bakery on Södermalm in Stockholm offers the novel service to its customers for 200 Swedish kronor ($30) a week with a promise to give increasingly popular dough the love and care it requires.

In the never-ending effort to defeat lonely hackers in far-off lands with WAY too much time on their hands, the promise of money and a list of websites you do NOT need to know about, I have upgraded the site with the latest in whizbangery. The side effects may linger - please let me know if you notice any weirdness or the site misbehaves on your system. Cheers, Doug.
